Vehicles collide in passing attempt Two vehicles collided in a passing attempt at 2:30 on Tuesday afternoon of last week at an intersection about four miles west of Syracuse. One driver was a rural Milford man. Kosciusko County officers investigated the mishap at the intersection of CR 300E and Lake Valley Drive which resulted in $425 in damages. Arthur Spayde, 23, of Bedford, Ohio, attempted to pass a vehicle driven by Garry D. Golden, 33, of r 1 Milford as Golden attempted a left turn onto Lake Valley Drive. Damage was set at $175 to the Spayde auto and $250 to the Golden vehicle, which was registered to Donald Smith of r 2 Syracuse.

Syracuse woman's car collides with deer A Syracuse woman, Christy Wiswell, 21, of r 4 Syracuse, was northbound on CR 33 north of Syracuse at 3:30 a.m. Saturday when a deer ran in front of her car causing a collision.
