IN EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS In EVERYTHING? Certainly! Thank God for health and continue to praise Him in ill-health; for prosperity, and also in adversity; when surrounded by kind friends, and when despised and forsaken; when sheltered beneath a good roof, and when in a hovel. Indeed, it is not the material condition that evokes thanks, but the heart condition. "Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me." For the food upon my table, For the clothes that I may wear, For trees and flowers, birds For the shelter of my little home. and bees, For all the comforts there: And the skies above the blue. For health to do my daily tasks, For eyes that I may see, Oh, I couldn't count my blessings, For ears to hear the songs of joy, I have many, many more, Dear God, I now thank Thee. And each day I am more thankful Than I was the day before. For light that brightens every day And for Christ my loving Savior, And my peaceful rest at night. Throughout all Eternity, For the still small voice that helps My grateful heart will sing me choose Thy praise Between the wrong and right. Anc ] offer thanks to Thee. Meeker, associate professor of psychology, interviewed 105 men and women whose romances had just ended and found that 94 per cent felt they would fall in love again and that 87 per cent expected the new love to be as intense as the old. Meeker found that men cited sex as the single most important factor in keeping a relationship going. Women put sex fifth on. the list, below such factors as love, meeting mutual needs and similarity of attitudes and beliefs.
