DEC. 9.1918 Mrs. Cleo Estep entertained at a turkey dinner Saturday evening in honor of her husband’s birthday. Seventeen were present, all members of the family except Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sorensen of Los Angeles. Calif., and Mrs. Sorensen and Miss Ellen Sorensen of Saint Ignace, Mich. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Arnold have moved into the Russell Homan property in southwest Milford, recently vacated by Mr. and Mrs. Perry, Levernier expected home today John Perry and Dan Levernier. both Milford residents, have been in Rome for the past week. The men left last Tuesday, Nov. 14. from Washington, D. C. Mrs. Perry reported approximately 200 others also went on the trip. The two men returned home today (W’ednesday). Vandalism last week at Vanlaninghams Steve Vanlaningham, r 1 Milford, told Kosciusko County police that vandals kicked open the front door of his home on CR 1100 North, one mile east of Camp Mack. The vandals also threw a rock through the front window. County Patrolman Richard Monk reported that damaged was done to the door casing and window of the home. The incident occurred between 6:30 a m. and 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 14.

DEC. 5,1918 Leonard Patterson who has been stationed at Camp Grant. 111., returned to Milford and ate Thanksgiving dinner with his father and mother. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Paterson. Frank Kern. one of our Milford restaurant men butchered a hog last Wednesday and shipped three others, the three weighing 905.
