JV outline goals for season competition

Junior varsity basketball coach Robert Long is hoping to build a strong team able to compete on the varsity level next year. This, he feels is his basic goal during the season. “This team is kind of in the middle between varsity and freshman,” he said, “It’s a building squad for the varsity.” Overall, the coach feels his team has some strong points. “I think the strength’s going to lie in our ability to fastbreak. Hopefully, to be. able to get the ball off the ground and run with it.” Another strong area of the team is in rebounding, commented coach Long. Defense is the area he is most
