The blood you have placed on the doorposts will be proof that you obey me, and when I see the blood I will pass over you and I will not destroy your firstborn children when I smite the land of Egypt. “You shall celebrate this event each year (this is a permanent law) to remind you of this fatal night. The celebration shall last seven days. Feast of Thanksgiving comes to Syracuse church

A time of rejoicing and giving thanks is being celebrated this week at the Syracuse United Pentecostal Church at 201 S. Harrison Street. Starting Thursday, Nov. 16, and running through Sunday. Nov. 19, special programs will be offered to help commemorate the church's 11th anniversary and the first pastoral anniversary of Rev. David M. Hudson. Rev. Hudson said the main reason for this Feast of Thanksgiving, however, is to give thanks. "It’s a time that we stop everything else in the church and give thanks to God for all he's done for us throughout the year. It’s a time of our expression to our Lord. We certainly need a time to recognize and make our thanks to the Lord known." Rev. Hudson will read a
