Mr. and Mrs. Don Harney, son Kevin and Mrs. Randy Pollen sang “Broken Pieces” Sunday morning with Mrs Harney accompaning at the piano. Carl Calloway led the devotions by reading Acts 28. Pastor Miller delivered the morning message “Paul Arrives at Rome.” The young people were in charge of the Sunday evening service. They showed the film “Peace Child.” Helping Hands met at the church Tuesday evening. Repairing hymnals, quilting and sewing quilt blocks were the projects for the evening. Devotions were given by Mrs. Robert Hurd and she read Matthew 28:20. She also read two poems written by Helen Steiner Rice entitled “If You Haven’t Succeeded” and “Make It A Two Way Prayer.” She also read an article from “The Haven of Rest” entitled, “Lo I Am With You Always” and led in prayer. Doris Tom and Mrs. Herbert Morehouse. Cindy Kammerer and Daralea Grisamer were among the seniors at Wawasee High School who toured Washington D. C. last Wednesday. About 38 youth attended a hay ride on Saturday evening. The group returned to the Earl Kammerer home where Dale Parker of Oswego was guest speaker. Donuts and cider were served to the group by Mrs. Kammerer and Mrs. Stan Kilmer. The Star Class met Saturday in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Morehouse to make their annual kettle of home made applebutter. The proceeds are being sent to Miss Catherine Froh, missionary in Haiti.
