Carroll teaching word o f God

Rev. Jeff Carroll came to Milford to preach at the First Brethren Church last May. Since then, he has tried to bring the Lord back to his congregation. He commented, “We think the Lord’s coming back soon. Our whole ministry is gearing to bring those who haven’t turned to Christ.” To do this, he said he is trying to go away from “churchanity.” “I’m trying to teach the word of God. To present the truth of God’s word in a practical, understandable and applicable manner.” Rev. Carroll added his basic preaching revolves around sin. “I’m trying to get at the heart of theproblem.” Fellowship Time One new program Rev. Carroll will be starting at the church is a single’s Bible and fellowship time. This will begin October 20 at 7:30 p.m. at 308 S. Main Street and is geared to those from ages 18-35. He hopes this will give singles a different place to meet. Another program the pastor would like to start at First Brethren is the teaching of Biblical principals for the home and family. “Kosciusko County has the highest divorce rate.” Rev. Carroll said this program
