Christine J. Opperud, 16, 1203 East Market St., Warsaw, backed onto North Parker St, Warsaw from a driveway when the truck she was driving bumped Custer’s van. Damage to Custer’s vehicle was set at $350 by Warsaw City Police Cpl. Jon Hershberger and Opperud’s truck received SSO damage. S SOO damages in one-car crash Damage amounted to SSOO in a one-car accident last Thursday on Whitaker Rd. in North Webster. Police said an auto driven by Bonnie L. Tuttle, 46, Walkerton, ran off the edge of the road and struck a utility pole. The collision also stretched the utility pole wires, police said.

Mrs Jacob Miller attended the Goshen fair on Wednesday of last week. Lieutenent Ronald Brown of Chaute Field, Rantoul. 111., and his brother, George Brown of Purdue University, spent Sunday with their parents Mr. and Mrs Jacob Brown northwest of Milford. Lieutenent Brown was at home on a five day furlough. Miss Marjorie Brown spent Sunday as the guest of friends at Warsaw.
