A proposed lease-rental agreement for the physical education facility at Wawasee High School between the Lakeland School Building Corp, of Kosciusko County II and the Lakeland Community School Corp, has been approved by the Indiana State Board of Commissioners. Epworth Forest, Webster Lake, and Zephyr Hills, Fla., one of the founders of the Epworth Forest Church Assembly, died at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday in the Murphy Medical Center, Warsaw. The five Gilbert cousins and their families, 33 in all, met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Searles Sunday for a picnic dinner. The afternoon was spent around the swimming pool. 45 YEARS AGO. ASCS to conduct wool-lamb referendum
The Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service will conduct a referendum August 21 through September 1 for wool and lamb producers to vote for or against a new agreement between the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the American Sheep Producers Council. Inc. Phil Braman, an official of the agency, said the agreement authorizes USDA to withhold part of any wool incentive payment that might be made to producers cn 1978-81 marketings to finance the ASPC’s activities. “Deductions would be used by the ASPC to finance advertising and sales promotion programs for wool and lamb, and programs to develop and disseminate information on

products quality, production management, and marketing improvement for wool and sheep.” If producers approve the agreement, up to cents per pound on shorn wool marketings, and 12* 2 cents per hundredweight on unshorn lambs, would be deducted. Copies of the agreement and ballots were distributed to Kosciusko County wool producers on August 18. Ballots may be returned by mail or in person to ♦the county ASCS office. According to Braman, the new agreement is similar to one approved in 1974.
