August 8 Man at station advised father broke foot, he is in car, gave directions to Goshen Hospital. Advised Unit 4 boys playing Frisbee across SR 13 at Lakeland Realty. August 9 Lady at station reported gates came down and lights came on, but no train at Huntington crossing, did this three times — checked, few minutes train approached. Lady asked, does son have to have license to operate moped. Believe he has to be 15 — her son is 12. Lady at Anchor Bar said semi hit their sign, didn’t stop. August 10 Lady advised cat bit her. Man reported yard ornament stolen from his yard.

Lady advised she got a mosquito in her ear — can’t get it out — advised to go to doctor. August 11 Lady reported theft of wallet at Augsburger’s, contained 15 $1 bills. Lady reported parking meter on Huntington St. north of post office not taking money properly. Lady advised of dog bite. August 12 Lady advised shots fired by the Block plant. Lady reported Irish setter running loose between Lake and John Sts., chasing kids and cars. Lady asked, how close can boat with skiers operate to shoreline. Advised 200 feet. North Webster dispatcher advised lady reported youths in pickup truck destroying equipment in school yard.

Man on E. Shore Dr. complained of boats and skiers too close to shoreline. Lady called ref. neighbors with bonfire. Advised is okay if watched. Lady reported window peeker. August 13 Lady reported loud party at Stuckman’s Trailer Court. Unit 10 reported vandalism to parking meter by the theater. Subject reported car on SR 13 driving recklessly. August 14 Unit 3 to contact doctor to see if he will come in and take care of Doberman Pinscher dog hit by car. Goshen doctor advised take it to clinic, he will be there in 20 minutes. Doctor advised dog died during the night. Don’t know owner. CBer reported dog hit on SR 13 north.

Milford police report released

Milford Town Marshal David Hobbs has released the summary of the activities of the Milford Police Department for the period July 10 to August 14. A total of two traffic accidents were investigated involving SSOO in damage. Seven traffic arrests were made. Three stolen property and theft reports were investigated. A total of $3lB involving three stolen property reports was recovered. As far as complaints were concerned, there were 16. No parking tickets were issued, but 15 warnings were given out. Four
