!-4JWMr - > ' SYRACUSE BUILDING COMING DOWN — Last week was the week to demolish old buildings: While Milford got its share of publicity with the demolition of two old buildings' on Main Street, a similar old building was coming down on South Huntington Street in Syracuse. The building which formerly housed the B & K Korner Kafe was demolished by Lawrence Firestone, using a huge back hoe. The building was originally used as a storage for the Maple Leaf Farms. The building was more recently owned by Dan Wyant. Chevrolet agent, and is located across the street to the north of the Wyant Chevrolet Agency. According to Wyant, the site w ill be used as a used car lot in conjunction with his auto agency.

They were among those people who were stuck on the Ferris wheel on Monday night. On the ride at the time it stopped were Jacqui and Joni Schultz. Cris Baumgartner and Amy Bucher. Shortly after the ride started it stopped and the girls thought they had a "short iride!" One of the girls, in a lower seat, yelled up, “We’re stuck!” and indeed they w ere. and Amy. in the lower seat, got off the ride in a reasonably short time. However.
it took some 20 minutes for Jacqui and Cris’ seat to be pulled down by rope. A most unusual experience wouldn't you say? —o— THE FATHER — son game last Sunday proved to be an interesting event in Our Town. The awards were made possible through the efforts of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Pena and Oscar's father Medaro (Pete) Pena, a deed for which the boys are very thankful. — O'LN KEEPING with family tradition. Kelly Marie Lechleidner, infant daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert Lechleidner (Kathy McFarren >, wore a tatted and crocheted handmade bonnet home from the hospital. Proud grandparents of the new infant are Mr. and Mrs. Doral McFarren of ()ur Town. —o— THE GOOD News Sensations from the Milford Christian Church will be featured in concert this Sunday at 7 p.in. in their home church.
