Irving Wallace and Amy Wallace, has hit the streets, people have been trying to think up different things to write lists about These range from the 10 worst science fiction films of all times to the 10 best dressed women in the world The following is a set of lists compiled around the area I will lie adding a few different sets of lists each week for the rest of the summer. Several shriveled brown objects that used to be various pieces of fruit. 3. Half gallon of milk that
always spoils too fast. 4. Small pieces of meat kept ready incase I feel like cooking 5. Plenty of bottled and canned Pop 6. Lots of frozen pot pies. 7 Tofcen ketchup and salad dressing bottles that are used only when I feel like cooking (which means they don't get used too often). 8. Leftover take-out food such as fried chicken. Chinese food and hamburgers. 9. Canned ham sent up by mom to see that I'm eating good. to Various junk food goodies such as ice cream and candy to satisfy mtf sweet tooth. (Now. don't get me wrong. 1 try to eat a good balanced meal as often as possible. A few other singles report things in their fridge such as a yogurt container, some cottage cheese, leftover spaghetti and hot dogs). Next week. Matching funds go for outdoor recreations
Joseph C. Cloud, director of the Department of Natural Resources has announced the state of Indiana has been notified of approval of a Land and Water Conservation fund matching grant from the Federal Bureau of Outdoor Recreation totaling $276,202. These funds will be allocated to five specific park and recreation boards in order to match county funds spent on recreational facilities. Recipients of the funds include the following: Harrison County Park and Recreation Board, the Highland and Dyer Park and Recreation Boards in Lake ■County, Mishawaka Parks and Recreation Board in Saint Joseph County, and the Lafayette Park and Recreation Board in Tippecanoe County. Plans Harrison will receive the largest sum in the amount of $198,166.50 to develop 220 acres of land in Boone Township which will be donated to the Harrison County Park and Recreation Board by the South Central Recreation Club. The first stage is to include two picnic areas, a shelter, two restrooms, two tennis courts, two softball and one baseball field, shuffleboard and horseshoe courts, playgrounds, roads, parking areas, a gatehouse, signs, water, sewer and electrical systems and seeding for South Harrison Park. Highland Park and Recreation Board will receive partial reimbursement for construction of ballfields, fencing and landscaping at DeMello Pailk. Amount of funding will be $32,035.21. The third largest sum will go to Lafayette Park in Tippecanoe County in the amount of $26,008.50 for partial reimbursement for acquisition of land for Hanna

In addition to obligating money to state projects, the Indiana Department of natural Resources makes funds available to city and county park and boards. Since inception of the program in 1965. over $lB million has been invested in such local projects Trash fire burns debris Syracuse firemen were calk'd at 9:23 p.m. Friday. Aug. 4. to Wyant Used Cars at Bowser Rd. and SR 13 where a trash fire of unknown origin was burning in piles of debris from the old locker plant. Three trucks answered the call. Firemen were called at 7:15 p.m. Friday. Aug. 4. to Liberty Coach in the 800 block on S. Huntington St., but it turned out to be a false alarm. Firemen could find no fire when they checked the building.
