Stout Boutique — fashions for full figured woman The Stout Boutique in Syracuse opened August 9, 1974. It is a specialty shop catering to the full figure woman — sizes 38 to 52. On April 8 of this year, Bonnie Workman and June Rogers opened a second store at 133 Easy Shopping Place in Elkhart. This fall both shops will start at sizes 36 and 16*2 to 54 and will also carry some straight sizes starting at 16. American Industries one stop shopping American Industries in Syracuse was founded in 1944 by William J. Kerfin and started with the manufacturing of Amerwood, paneling with the rustic look. In 1950 prefinishing of custom paneling for walls and kitchen cabinets was added to the work at the plant. In the 1960 s wholesaleing of paneling and plywood became the biggest part of the business and manufacturing was discontinued. A new front and show rooms were added in 1971 and retailing of building materials was incorporated into the business. The year 1978 brought a new warehouse for lumber products and the business was expanded to be a complete home center. It is the place in the area that gives everyone one place to pur-

Phil Leach is manager of the firm. Wyant Chevrolet is made up of familiar faces and new ones Wyant Chevrolet, Inc., formerly Cutter Chevrolet, was purchased by Daniel L. Wyant in September 1977. The Wyant Chevrolet Family is made up of many local familiar faces, <Jong with some new ones in the community. Mr. Wyant and his family have been permanent residents of the area for four years and summer residents for 11 years. He is also owner of Wyant Olds-GMC in Marion and has been in the automobile business for over 26 years. Wyant manager Jon Dewart, grew up in this area and has been associated in the automobile business for many years. He resides with his family near Milford. Dave Gargett, service manager, is a new resident. The Gargetts have two children and reside in Syracuse. Another newcomer is parts manager Buddy Martz and family. His experience covers many years. Bookkeeper Sue Miller, a local girl, started with Cutter while still in high school. The sales force consists of Roy Clow,used car manager, Rick Eyer, Ed Kyle and Bob Johnson The Wyant Chevrolet organization is eager to serve the entire area in sales and service with plans for expansion in the near future.
