From the Syracuse police blotter June 20 Report came in that the Pizza Restaurant in Milford had been burglarized. Information given to county. A lady reported that neighbors burning tires near her home. The smoke was bothering her. Man on S. Huntington St. said a black Buick jumped the curb, damaging his yard, then left scene. Man complained of cars parked both sides of alley behind his car next to elementary school playground. He couldn't get his vehicle out of drive. Lady reported a boy driving an old pickup truck recklessly through the town. June 21 Man reported kids trespassing, playing on piers, running through yard, at Medusa Court. Police will check. y Lady who had reported two bikes stolen earlier says one has been found. Lady advised pump stolen from her lake pier. Ligonier State Police post reported a semi hauling steel lost part of its load south on SR 13, damaged three vehicles. Woman reported lost Irish Setter. Man advised subjects breaking into vehicle. June 22 Call for ambulance at Premiere Corporation, ill employee Lady from Fort Wayne wants to know dates for fireworks at North Webster. Kids playing on fire phone, giggling and calling in “FireFire." Man reported German Shepherd dog running loose on Ogden Island, Lake Wawasee. « June 23 Man reported he swerved his van to miss a deer. Sow has two flat tires. Will get This car in morning. Accidental tripping of burglar alarm at Augsburger's. Lady reported in early morning she was almost hit by train, said lights didn’t come on until engine was across crossing. Will check out B & O workers. Keys locked in vehicle at Frog parking lot. Caller advised husband beat his wife, has knife, subject hysterical. Husband taken to jail. Subject reported shooting behind church at the dump north of town, children playing near there. Lady wanted to know if they really took her husband to jail, or did they just tell her that. They really took him to jail. Lady reported lost Collie dog. Actor at Enchanted Hills advises he is locked out of car. Lady reported landlord problem. Caller reported a stop sign down at 500 N and 750E. Lady reported gang fight at Armstrong and 500 N. Another caller reported same incident. June 24 Caller reported two subjects “messing around” car lot near bowling alley. Lady reported boys throwing stones at boats near a marine company, .a A person from Hunnicutt Park advised live music .is keeping everybody up (2:15 aun.) advised tavern to turn down amplifiers. Ambulance called to house at 34 North Shore Dr. Lady from Avilla asked for time of parade at North Webster. Man reported someone dumped trash over fire hydrant at end of Boston St. Guard at Weatherhead advised reckless driving by two subjects in white Jeep. Ambulance requested at Bayshore Dr. Man advised teenagers in car threw beer bottle at two people in front of Church of God. June 25 Lady reported light of some sort keeps coming on and off at back of iron removable plant. At 7 a.m. district 21 advised severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 9 a.m., storm traveling from South Bend southeast at 20 mph. Lady on Carroll Si. said camper parked on street, subject living in it past two nights. Severe storm warning extended to 11 am. Caller reported 1969 tan Buick driving recklessly across Front St. bridge. Lady complained of large boat speeding on Shoe Lake, Oswego Rd. Lady reported a red convertible with white top has been in front of her home for some time “watching me.” Man reported lost white poodle. Subject’s keys locked in car at Foo and Faye’s.
