have such a fine doctor. A special thanks go to Mr. and Mrs. Paul Isbel and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Claybaugh for all the delicious food and helping me in many ways during my illness. Words cannot explain the efficient and courteous manner in which the Syracuse EMS handle their job. They are wonderful; many thanks to all of them. If all branches of Syracuse government operated with half die efficiency and courtesy as the EMS, especially the street department needs some pointers on efficiency and courtesy. They also need a few more Roy Davis’ (he does no special favors, but does his job and does it well). It’s time to show the taxpayers they are receiving some benefits for their tax dollar. Who ever put the article in The Mail Journal in “Cruzin around Cruse” in March 8 issue stating a new sign should be posted saying “Welcome to Syracuse, Chuck Hole town of the Middle West,” sure hit the nail on the head. Thanks again to EMS. Sincerely, Miriam Rock, a resident of Syracuse for 53 years.

/nswrance Corner • •••••• • ■ r • First Charter Insurance Agency HOW MUCH FOR CAR DAMAGE? Dollars aren't the only things which devalue with age. Depreciation holds true with your car also. What does this mean in terms of collecting payment for damage, theft, or a complete wipeout? People sometimes think that they'll be able to recover the full amount that they paid for the car if it's totally demolished. This isn't always true. Like anything else, the value of your car decreases every year, so insurance companies usually limit their payment to the ' actual cash value of the car. In ’other words, you'll receive an amount necessary to replace your car with the same year's model in similar condition. If your car is only partially damaged, your insurance company will pay no more to repair your car than the car is currently worth. Also, repair costs for any damage that existed before your accident should not be provided by your insurance company. This falls ' under the heading of "pre-existing damage." **************** • t ’ • y This Information Has Been Brought ZT t o You As A Public Service By First Charter Insurance Agency ~ ' I P.O.
