By SUSAN BENNETT Joan Folk works in one school system and has a daughter playing | basketball in another school system. | But there's no doubt where her i loyalty lies. Her classroom at the Milford Elementary school has been a pretty exciting place, with the third graders following the Warsaw | Girls' Basketball season. Clippings | from newspapers, many with picI tures of her daughter, Anita, are taped to the blackborad. Each Monday morning the students would ask if the girls had chalked up I another win, right up to the big one | — the state finals and the title. "The last four weeks have been | awfully fast," Mrs. Folk says. She | said this time it’s different, with more recognition going to the team. "And, our telephone hasn't stopped ringing!" Mrs. Folk often takes | messages for her daughter. People | who haven't seen the Folk family for I years have written to them at their r 6 Warsaw home. The Tiger team has been getting invitations to luncheons and other | social functions and Mrs. Folk finds | herself keeping Anita's clothes washed up for these events. Before, she kept the practice and playing | uniforms clean and remembered | whether Anita was practicing before | or after supper. The only time Mrs. Folk felt | divided was when Warsaw played | Wawasee during the regular season. | She had Sonja Hoover as a student I® before and cheered for both teams that
