The reverse side tells the coupon holder that the sale has been arranged, “By special arrangements with the Aurora Corset Co., manufacturers of the famous Henderson Corsets, we will redeem this coupon as 25 cents in the purchase of any Henderson Corset, under the following conditions: Only one coupon will be accepted with each corset purchased. This coupon is good only during the special sale as mentioney below. No rebate given without a coupon. The coupon must be signed as follows: . . .” The purchaser’s name and address was required along with the style number of the corset and the date it was sold. The sale Was from September 9 to 14 with no year given. The Beers are anxious to find out more about their home and the history behind it and of Ruley and Co. WE LEARN something new each week but really didn’t count on this week’s continuing education program being the fact that the turnip is a member of the mustard family. Glad to know that . . . couldn’t get along without that fact! HOOSIER HYSTERIA is upper most in the minds of most residents of our state this week ... the sectionals are beginning with Wawasee playing Warsaw tonight at Triton. It’s a rematch of last year’s championship game and we’ll be there backing coach Jerry Lambert and his Warrior team. A newcomer to our area cab not, however, get over the fact that the store windows are not decorated with slogans urging

the team on to another sectional championship. Down Hartford City way, where she comes from, everyone goes all out to give the team a send off and let the boys know the entire community is behind them ... she says, “That’s Hoosier Hysteria!” By the way, Hartford City has a record of winning sectionals . . . maybe a little more community backing would help ... it sure couldn’t hurt. SPEAKING OF basketball, how about those Warsaw girls! Two out of three years they have won the state crown. Milford resident Silas Howard, a Warsaw school teacher, tells of having two of the girls in his classes when they were younger; and one of the third grade classrooms at the Milford Elementary School has a teacher who is floating on a cloud. A proud mother! Joan Folk could not help but be proud of her daughter, Anita, a Warsaw senior who was named the most valuable player in the state finals. BUD AND Jeri Seely were in Wabash on a recent Sunday and

met Herbert Kann of Warsaw. The Kanns are former Milford area residents and were attending an antique show in Wabash. The Seelys were attending a district Lions meeting. FORMER POSTMASTER Paul Kaiser sent a post card back to his fellow postal workers giving his new address in Florida. After stating his new address, he wrote “zip code unknown.” Shame on you — Paul! A CONTINUED check of energy cutbacks shows that Ralston Purina has cut back all electrical equipment they cap. Jim Wilson also reports the firin has cut its heat back to 55 degrees as they heat with electricity. A CALL from Emma Clayton Krauter on Monday morning revealed her thoughts on spring. She is sure it is on its way! She found 12 turtle doves, two red birds and some small blue birds, maybe jays, on her back porch and in her yard early Monday morning. She further exclaimed the air was filled with birds singing!
