WARRIORS CONTINUE WINNING WAYS — Sports photographer Mike Clark snapped this photo of a Warrior and a Minuteman on the mat during the Wawasee - Concord match last Thursday night. The Warriors were victorious 47-15 as they remain undefeated.

Wrestlers still undefeated

By MARK STIFFLER The Wawasee wrestlers upped their record to 9-0 with three impressive wins during the past several days. They scored a convincing 44-21 win over Bremen on January 16, turned in a 47-15 victory over Concord cm Thursday, Jan. 19, and kept the perfect record with a thrilling 29-22 victory over a tough Plymouth squad on Saturday. Host Bremen Bremen got in the hole right away with the forfeit in the opening match and before they could get going Rinker and Germonprez had given Wawasee an 18-0 lead with two pins. After Marks got Bremen on the board, the Warriors put the meet away for all practical purposes with the pins by Hammaker and Marose. Dan Andrews had an impressive outing after missing about 10 meets. Bremen made a charge at the end that fell well short. Terry Rinker ended the match 13- Wayne Gronendyke 10-1 and Hal Hammaker 11-2.
