Milford EMS An elderly man. involved in a one-car accident on SR 15 across from Barth s, was transported to the Kosciusko Community Hospital emergency room on November 3. He complained of cheat pains On November 4 a Milford man was transported from a nursing home in LaGrange to Elkhart. A man living at Waubee Lake suffered an apparent heart attack and was transported to the Goshen Hospital emergency room on November 4. Two women were transported to the Goshen Hospital emergency room on November 5 after a two-car accident on SR 15 at CR 1250. One complained of abdominal pain, cut leg and sore nose. The second woman complained of head pain and numbness m the left arm and back pain. On November 7 the unit was called to a farm on CR 50 and 27

Donald Brumbaugh Oct. 11,1927- Nov. 4,1977 Donald Brumbaugh, 50, r 1 Milford, died at 5:24 am Friday in the Goshen Hospital emergency room of an apparent heart attack. Death was unexpected. He was born in Milford on October 11. 1927 On August 21, 1964. he was married to Judy Widup She survives. He was an employe of Star Machine, Inc , Elkhart for the past 14 years. The deceased was a member of the Goshen Moose Lodge. Surviving with the widow are a son, James, r 1 Milford; a daughter, Krista and a stepson Scott,, both at home; two brothers, a twin, Ronald and Richard, both of Goshen; and one granddaughter Funeral services were held on Monday in the Milford Christian Church with Robert Greenwood officiating. Warsaw. She had been in failing health for several years. She was born September 27, 1897 near Mentone to John and Ola (Wertenberger) Goodman She married Laßoy Bennett on June 18.1921. He preceded her in death in 1963. She was a member of the Burket Methodist Church. He was born October 22, 1897 in Bamsville, N.C., to Romulus and Mary Jane (Crisp) Cole. On July 9. 1967, he married Evelyn Inskeep. She survives. She was transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend in the Goshen ambulance where she is listed as stable. Births TROUP, Jamie Lou Mr. and Mrs. David R. Troup of r 1 Milford are the parents of their first child, a daughter Jamie Lou. She was born Monday, Nov. 7, and weighed eight pounds, one and a half ounces and is 21 and a half inches long. She had been ill for several years. Mrs. Hunt was born in Greencastle to David and Lauretta Jane (O’Hare) Buster. Her husband Rex Hunt preceded her in death. , She owned and operated a dress shop in North Webster for several years before moving to Arcadia. At 62. she retired. Mrs. Hunt was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Arcadia. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ed (Lauretta) Knarur of Clearwater, Fla. ; a son, Robert Hunt of Cicero, Ill.; three grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one brother, Robert E. She was a patient at the hospital since October 30. She was born in Syracuse June 16.1929. On February 2,1962, she married Richard A. Fisher, who survives. Other survivors include two sons, Richard L., at home, and Robert, a student at Purdue University; one daughter, Sharon, at home; two sisters; and one brother. ANGLIN RECEIVES AWARD — Max M. Anglin, vice presidentsales, Dalton Foundries, Inc., Warsaw, right, received the distinguished Wm. J. Grede Award from the Iron Castings Society at an industry banquet October 12. The Grede Award is named for the founder of Grede Foundries, Inc., Milwaukee. Mr. Anglin was cited for his endeavors over a long period of time to improve marketing technique* and programs of the iron foundry industry. His personal efforts have been instrumental in developing innovative industry marketing programs and promoting new concepts.

Lake Street, Syracuse, was driving north on CR 33 and stopped at the intersection of US 33. She tuen turned left on US 33 in front of a truck, driven by Steven R. Baer, 18, 60927 CR 15 Elkhart. Baer slid 93 feet before striking the Karesh car. No injuries were reported. Damage was set at SSOO each to the two vehicles. E3 Ostrich eggs are the largest bird eggs. They may be eight inches long and weigh three pounds.
