The heavy equipment of Bradbury Brothers Excavating of South Bend, contractors for the sewer extension in Wawasee Village, completed the work with a giant backhoe. On the west side of road 13 a catch basin is located, and company workmen made the connecting line on the sewer line by means of a Laser beam. u Kjlk 8 •- ; ' '*- JF 1 • '.— ■'* *#l'T . ** /> ".'•*. •'•\/ * . • - • SOME SAW. WE’D SAY — A huge concrete saw, owned by the Indiana State Highway Department, bore its way through eight inches of concrete and four inches of asphalt at the corner of state road 13 and Maple Grove Street in Wawasee Village on Monday as a first step in laying a water line across the busy highway. Workmen on the job said the saw would cut 100 feet of concrete before changing the blade on the saw. It is ail a part of the project to expand the water and sewer lines into the newly annexed Wawasee Village area.
