Cereals war games
Dear Editor: A cereal boy is again featuring war games, but it is starting with the uniform on a little boy. Small and unimportant as it may be, it is setting a pattern. To those parents concerned, let’s write a letter expressing our feelings to the cereal company, Battle Creek, Mich. 49014. Years ago we were plagued with the whole works of war games. A few mothers wrote to the respective companies, sharing their concerns. The end result was the cereal companies promoting physical fitness and

(EDITOR’S NOTE: The following letter was received this week from Jerry F. Graff. Graff is a 1951 graduate of Milford High School and the son of Albert Graff of near Milford.) Dear Editor: If you have liked US foreign policy during and since WW 11, you will love the give away of our canal by our state department. Lenin said: First, we will take Eastern Europe, then the masses of Asia, then we will encircle the United States which will be the last bastion of capitalism. We will not have to attack. It will fall like an overripe fruit into our hands. With a little investigation you will find our state department has been run by people belonging to the Council of Foreign Relations (CFR) for over 30 years. athletics —a fine, outstanding job, well done. We don’t need war games now or even at Christmas. With our politicians encouraging our selling billions of dollars of war equipment to other countries, we need to be ever alert at the grass roots level. As you express your concerns to our industries and government, in this ratio will they be responsive to human needs. This is how the government can serve its citizens. Sincerely, George Weybright
purpose one world government. It is apparent that this one world government would be under communist control. CFR members include Secretary of State Vance,, Panama Canal negotiators Bunker and Linowitz, Senator Bayh and Representative Brademas. Bunker helped give away South Veit Nam as US Ambassador there and Linowitz was a registered agent for Chile when it was under communist control. Communism has enslaved over one billion people since WW II and Panama is run by a Marxist dictator. Write to your Congressmen and demand that they vote the way 86 per cent of the US people feel — keep our canal the way it is. Lenin’s prophesy has just about come true. It’s up to the people to stop it, your government won't! Jerry F. Graff Box 798 Albrook AFB Canal Zone Bank personnel learn 'Flimflam' strategies Eighteen members of the State Bank of Syracuse staff travelled to Notre Dame August 30 to attend a seminar sponsored by the South Bend Chapter of American Institute of Banking. Inc., concerning prevention of bank losses. The major share of bank loss today is attributed to fraudulent securities and worthless checks. Based on this fact. Edward F Welch, who spent 12 years in federal prisons for crimes of fraud committed against banks and businesses, has developed a factual, forthright presentation designed to inform banks how to recognize the "con man and how to cope with him. Welch and Crime Prevention Education Associates, Inc., produced a Workshop on Bank Fraud Loss-Prevention Security which features a video tape which highlights simulated encounters between bank employees and the professional thief and is based on Welch's actual experiences as a “con man.” The presentation graphically demonstrates passed forged instruments to develop observation and recognition skills by employees who handle and process such instruments.
