Tully family places in biq week end ski meet

The Tully family of Lake Wawasee and Elkhart traveled to Dubuque. lowa for the Ninth Mississippi Valley Open Ski meet

held August 13 and 14. The event brought participants from Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, lowa, and Kansas.

Douglas Pollock receives promotion TAMPA, Fla. — The son of a Syracuse couple has achieved the rank of airman first class in the US Air Force. Airman Douglas D. Pollock,

whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Paul Pollock of r 4 Syracuse is an aircraft maintenance specialist at Mac Dill AFB, Fla., and serves with a unit of the tactical air command. The airman is a 1976 graduate of Wawasee High School.
