The new press, added to the firm’s growing commercial printing department, is capable of printing two colors at one time on a printing surface of 11** by 17 inches at the rate of 9.500 impressions per hour. Lloyd Coy, superintendent of the commercial department, will operate the press and train others in the department in iu use and operation. The press, valued at 113.000. is considered one of the finest commercial presses on the market today.
Lions hold banner night festivities in Warsaw
Lions from throughout the state of Indiana gathered at the Shrine building in Warsaw on Saturday night for the annual passing of the governors’ banner from the Warsaw Lions Club to the German Township Lions Club of South Bend

The Warsaw Lions held the banner for the past year in honor of Milo Lightfoot who served district 25-G as governor during the 1976-77 year. The new governor is Robert Harrington of South Bend. Douglas A. Anderson of
Warsaw, 1976-77 cabinet secretary, served as master of ceremonies for the event. State organist George Smith Anderson provided music during the dinner hour Howard Bock, president of the Warsaw Lions Club gave the welcome of the evening. The program was given by Jerry Franks of Grace College. Lightfoot introduced state officers and past district governors who were in attendance c with the new governor introducing his fellow governors. The guest speaker of the evening was Gene Rice of Wanatah, immediate past international director of Lions. He spoke on what .a banner night is and the duties and responsibilities of a district governor. Bock presented the banner to Al Hepler, president of the German Township Club. Remarks followed by the district governor. Lakeland Locals Tony Peterson has returned to his home in Salt Lake City after a two-week visit with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Enoch at Lake Wawasee. Mrs. Gatha Kern of Mesa, Ariz., and Mrs. Edith Baumgartner of Milford visited with Mr. and Mrs. John Method and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Method and family at W’aubee Lake last Monday. Mr and Mrs Fred Kline returned home to Miami, Fla., after visiting with Mr and Mrs. Noah Clauss. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Method and girls and Mr. and Mrs John Method during the past week E A.
