We think some of Our Town's senior citizens might remember a few faces though. / MRS WILLARD (Yvonne) Conn of Lake Tippecanoe is currently enjoying the sites in Paris, France and Switzerland THE FLOYD Fullers of Stuart, Fla., are enjoying a visit to their former home town. The Fullers resided on South Main Street in Our Town for a number of years before moving to the Florida sunshine to be near their daughter Virginia and her husband Bob Bushong (also former Milford residents) last year. On their trip north the Fullers have enjoyed a stay at the Bushong’s cottage at Birch Lake near Elk Rapids. Mich., where they pitched in and helped with several remodeling projects and visited with Eleanor Tom of r 2. Before returning to Florida they plan to visit their granddaughter Jean and her family in Kokomo 808 GREENWOOD and son

Mark of the Christian Church are home from the Northmen, a Christian clink for men and boys held in Northern Michigan each year. SPEAKING OF the Christian Church, don’t forget the Good Twinsconcert this Friday night. Many will remember from last year the twins. Dwight and Dwayne, are cousins of Mrs Larry Shook of Syracuse. WE ENJOYED a short visit with Mrs. P. G. Kern of Mesa. Aril., in the post office on Tuesday. She has been visiting Mrs. Herbert Baumgartner and other friends in the ares and left Tuesday for Bronson, Mkh. The Kern family resided in Milford several years ago and operated the drug store here. They later moved to Bronson MR. AND Mrs. Jerry Bushong of out Waubee Lake way attended the Hamsher reunion at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cone of Pierceton on Sunday. The Bushongs and many other family relatives will travel back to Pierceton on Sunday to attend the wedding of the Cone’s daughter Carla. For the Bushongs it will be the first of two weddings within the week as son John, a MHS

graduate now residing in South Bend, will marry Leesa Linear, also of South Bend, on Friday evening. Aug. IS. MANY IN Our Town supported the 4-H livestock auction at the county fair last Thursday. A NOTE from Wallace Huffman of near-by Leesburg says he and his charming wife have just returned from a 28-day trip to Germany, Austria and Switzerland. They rented a car and free lanced. This couple has taken to traveling quite a bit recently, visiting the Scandavian countries last year. A NUMBER of youngsters from the Lakeland Day Care Center toured The M-J last Wednesday afternoon and mailed us a number of thank you notes. It seems Gladys Coy, and many other women in Our Town, are currently canning pickles of every kind, shape and form Syracuse man is arrested after Saturday accident John D. Yoder. 27, r 3 Syracuse, was arrested for (hiving under the influence erf intoxicating beverages and public intoxication following a one-car accident Saturday, Aug. 6. The accident occurred on CR 500E, two miles south of Syracuse, at 9:36 pm Yoder’s car went out of control and struck a guide wire, according to county police. Damage was set at S6OO Yoder was later released on S2OO bond.
