collision on US 30 near Etna Green last Wednesday Dead is Margaret Nifpng, 70, r

1 Etna Green. Mrs. Nifong suffered a heart attack in the ambulance while being transported to a Fort Wayne hospital. She suffered head and chest injuries in the accident. Her husband, Truman, 74, driver of the car, was treated at Kosciusko Community Hospital and released. Police stated Nifong was stopped in the median between the east and westbound lanes of US 30 a short distance north of Etna Green. He then drove into the eastbound lane into the path of Zimmerman’s vehicle. Damages were estimated at $2,500 to each vehicle. Syracuse Library seeks additional appropriation f Notice is given taxpayers this week, of the Syracuse Public Library, of a meeting at 5 p.m. on August 10, to consider additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year, in the amount of $3,500. The appropriation is made from the unappropriated library improvement reserve fund balance.
