Milford man injured A Milford man was injured in a car-truck crash Monday evening at the intersection of 900 N and old 15. Johnie R Dove, box 607 Milford, was admitted to Kosciusko Community Hospital with multiple lacerations and a concussion, following the accident. David A. Read, r 6 Plymouth, driver of a truck owned by” the Plymouth Fertilizer Company. Inc., failed to yield the right-of-way and slammed into the Dove auto. Read was attested for failure to yield the right-of-way. Read and Eugene Mead, 20, East Winona. Warsaw, were both injured and also taken to KCH for treatment and later released. Marlette returns home for several week stay

James Russell Marlette, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Marlette, r 2 Syracuse, has returned home for a visit until sometime in August. Marlette has been stationed at Clark Air Force Base in the Phillipines and was recently promoted to staff sergeant.

Help is needed to provide helmets and other protective equipment for the 120-plus youngsters of the T-Ball League Possibly people don’t realize how lucky our community is to have a young lady donate her time, money and effort to coach, be a pal. and yea. even baby sit for these children. Her name is Jan Wright, daughter of Jay and Dotty Van Sickle. Jan is unemployed at the present time, because of the RV cutback. She has used lumber bought by the Wawasee Booster Club to build benches for the teams to sit on at Vega field but had to build them herself, plus, because of five injuries last week in her league, she took her own

July 3. for the Boat-in Worship services at 8:30 a.m. and at Wawasee Lakeside Chapel at 10 o'clock. From Springfield. Mo., the group will sing at the boat-in and give the full program at Wawasee chapel. J The group is composed of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Nickel and daughter. Joyce, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nickel and sons. Jeffrey and Joel. The music ministry of the family covers a span of nearly 18-years. For the first 10. it involved the entire family of seven sons and one daughter, along with the parents. Several sons are now married, and have taken vocations of their own. Concerts have been rendered in more than 40 states and several provinces of Canada.

Syracuse, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on June 26. and are celebrating with an extended vacation trip to the northwest and Las Vegas. Vera Williamson and James Kitson were united iivmarriage June 26, 1937, by Rev. Benjamin Franklin in Goshen. They have two children. Phillip Kitson of Antwerp. Ohio, and Charmaine Egolf, Syracuse, and five grandchildren. Mr. Kitson is retired from farming and was a long time employee of Days Transfer in Elkhart. He is currently a school bus owneroperator for Fairfield Community Schools.

Wedding vows were exchanged by Annette Rosbrugh and Kenneth W. Bumworth at 2:30 p m., on Saturday, June 18. at Morris Chapel Church. Rev.
