Jean Northenor attends 'Skills' seminar June 8-9 Jean Nott! enor, auditor of Kosciusko County, attended an academy in the public service seminar. "Improving Managerial Skills,” on June 8-9 in Fort Wayne. The seminar was available on a limited enrollment basis to county’, city, and town elected officials in northeastern Indiana who desired some concentrated training in public policy skills and techniques. The seminar was taught by Dr. Alfred Albrecht, chairman of the communication department at Goshen College and a cooperating faculty associate of the academy in the public service. Dr. Albrecht presented such key topics as time management, leadership styles, decision making, and communication tools in a practical, rather than theoretical, approach to effective management for local public policy leaders.
