HERE IS another oldie given to us by Lawrence Homan of Our Town. The date on the back is “about 1910.“ It would appear everyone stopped working to pose for this photo. Can anyone supply us with any information on who is in the photo or what is happening? MAD IS considering holding a CPR course in Our Town this coming July. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation can help save lives. Classes are two days and are offered by the Red Cross. If you're shopping at the grocery store when the man at the checkout counter gasps, clutches his chest, falls to the floor and begins to turn blue as his breathing ceases what would you do? Persons who have taken the basic life support CPR course may be able to save his life. Persons taking the course learn how to restore heartbeat and breathing in a victim by means of the dual application of external heart compression and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Workbooks, viewers, peer practice, manikins and evaluation are used to teach with. Persons who would like more information on the course or who would like to enroll in the course should contact MAD officers — Kerry Price. Becky Doll, Sally Cline or Bruce Bultemeier. FORMER MILFORD resident Joann Rassi (Hueni) of Bremen will be reigning as “Queen of the Lakes" at the Mermaid Festival in North Webster during the coming festivities. She represented the Milford Lions Club in the festival last year and walked away with top honors. The very beautiful young lady is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Rassi of near Our Town. ; This year the Lions are sponsoring Kristine Brembeck as “Miss Milford Lions" and are sure they have picked another queen. SNUFFY IS still out driving around. Our now famous clown was spotted again this week ITS A boy! Reads the sign on
