JV team downed by North Wood By KEVIN ROCKENBAtGH The Warriors JV baseball team lost a very exciting game to North Wood 9-7. The Warriors led by Gary Vance with two singles and a double, Gary also leads the Warriors in the hitting department batting .500 for the season. Scott Detwiller had two doubles. Jeff Beezley and Mark Simpson both had two runs batted in. Mark Simpson hit a home run that started a rally that nearly changed the outcome of the game Adams of North Wood scored six runs in the seventh inning Loucks got the win for North Wood.
