Webster church Facilities expanded The North Webster Church of God recently completed construction of additions to their building, enabling classrooms, the fellowship area and sanctuary to be enlarged. "The expansion was needed to help with the classroom facilities," said Rev. William Evans. The fellowship area of the church was enlarged and will double as classrooms when movable partitions arrive. Previously,- TOO persons could be accommodated for fellowship gatherings, frequently held in the Lion's Building. The enlarged facility will house 275 to 300 for meetings. "We feel now that we'll have room to accommodate everybody in fellowship suppers and this sort of thing," Rev. Evans commented. Five other Sunday School rooms were added in the construction. These classrooms will be used for youth and adult classes. Inside the sanctuary, the platform was reworked for more flexibility. "The idea was to make the entire platform portable for different types of programming," Rev. Evans explained. Seven pews in the sanctuary were added and one pew in the balcony, increasing the seating by 80 persons. An elevator was installed for the elderly and handicapped for easier

Construction stopped April 16 on the additions, with dedication being held April 17. During the ceremony, the key was passed from the general to the electrical and plumbing contractor, to the engineer, to the building chairman, to the chairman of the board of trustees to Rev. Evans.
