Syracuse woman is knocked unconscious during robbery

Darlene Haines of Syracuse was taken to the Goshen Hospital by the New Paris emergency unit last Tuesday after she was knocked unconscious during a robbery at Haines Pizza Parlor. Millersburg. The robbery took {dace around 10 p.m. and netted the robber around S7O from the cash box. Mrs. Haines was alone in the business and was slugged from behind as she went to the door to lock up. She was treated in the emergency room of the hospital Milford driver receives fine Pedro Mendoza. 22, r 1 Milford, was assessed $2Bl in Goshen City Court last week for driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages and $34 for a beginner's permit violation. Mendoza was sentenced to 14 days in jail with eligibility for work release and lost his driver’s license for one year on the driving under the influence charge. He was arrested by Goshen police on January 23.
