Homer Correll Homer Correll, age 89 years, r 1 Pierceton, died at 3:15 p.m. Friday, January 21, at the Strawberry Nursing Home in Ligonier Death was due to complications following an illness of three years. He was born near Claypool July 9, 1887, the son of Frank and Matilda (Wuchter) Correll He had resided near North Webster since 1910. The deceased was married to Goldie May Osborn October .8, 1908, and was a retired farmer. Survivors are the widow; three sisters. Mrs Stella Miller, r 1 North Webster, Mrs. Blanche Hertel, South Bend, and Mrs Rena Decker. Warsaw A son-. Ida Metzger Arnold. The bachelor spent much time as a resident of Milford and was a retired fanner. He is Survived by Mrs. Ruth Collins, r 3 Nappanee. Arnold was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers. Friends called at the Mishler Funeral Home. Milford, from 2 to 4 and7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Paul Loucks, Missionary Church, Nappanee, officiating Arnold was interred in the Milford Cemetery. John DeKnikker John DeKnikker, 66, 416 North Eighth Street. Goshen, father of x Mrs. Donald (Beverly) Berkey of died of an apparent heart attack Tuesday at the former I-XL plant in Goshen where he was employed. A resident of Goshen for 32 years, the deceased was bora in Doon, lowa, on June 5, 1910. He was united tn marriage to Beulah Nettleton on August 4, 1939. She survives Mr DeKnikker was a maintenance man for Hamilton Leasing and was a member of the Goshen Moose Lodge. Suririving besides his wife. Beulah, and daughter, Mrs. Berkey, are one son, Robert of Galien; three other daughters. Interment will be in the Menden cemetery in Pendleton. Edith Andrews Edith Andrews, 81, r 2 Syracuse, died this morning (Wednesday) in Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie. following an extended illness. She was born in Elkhart on April 10,1895. the daughter of W. E. Whittig and Eliza Personette. During her life, she resided in Muncie. Upland and Ashley. Andrews moved to Syracuse in 1953, five years prior to the death of her husband. Jack. She was a member of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel, and Syracuse American Legion Auxiliary. While in Ashley, she was an Eastern Star member. Andrews had been living with a relative, Dayard Whittig, Eaton. Survivors also include a sister-in-law, Ester Whittig. Hudson; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the TitmanRichman Funeral Home. Eaton, Friday and early Saturday.
