Christmas time is fast approaching when we celebrate the birth of our Saviour. She has better hearing than many and a memory to match A few years ago. after having cataracts taken off of one eye she said. "Wasn't anything to it!" The grandchildren and greatgrandchildren still have their eye on her cookies, home baked no less, and all enjoy her sense of humor and interesting conversation as she keeps up on world news, local news and even the teenage generation. A person can sit for hours and listen to stories of the hay-making, threshing, the work-horses, the depression and all of the experiences that went with it. LAST WEEK Leslie Schoomaker and Roy Schultz of Henry street acquired pets which have become the talk of the town. Early in the week white ducks were seen in the parking lot at Chore-Time and later they were spotted in the yard at the Rick Brouillettes' at the corner of Fourth and Henry. They moved south — a few houses anyway — and made themselves at home The Schoomakers and Schultzs fed them to keep them from starving and the ducks adopted them returning for food when they were hungry Smart birds’

God — the devil. Why not accept the gift of God at this special season of the year. Jesus Christ can give you a new life unshackled from the sins and lusts erf this world. State police report for November Indiana State Police at Ligonier have announced the following end of the month report for November on their activities in Kosciusko county. Hours worked — 1.082 Miles patrolled — 21.822 Accidents investigated — 25 Arrests effected — 110 Warnings issued — 201 Motorists assisted — 43 Lieutenant Edward C Anweiler. district commander, reports that five troopers and one sergeant were responsible for the work The Ligonier district comprises the seven northeastern counties of the state and officers conducted 94 criminal in-
vestigations which resulted in the arrests of 52 persons. A total of 13 persons have been fatally injured in rural accidents in Kosciusko county during the 11 months of 1976 as compared to 16 persons during the same period of 1975. For the seven-county district. 81 persons have lost their lives in traffic accidents as compared to 66 persons this same period last year. This is an increase of 15 fatalities. Leesburg woman in accident in Warsaw Saturday Damage totaled $625 in a twocar accident last Saturday afternoon in Warsaw involving a car driven by a Leesburg woman and a Warsaw youth. Judy Minear. 28. r 1 Leesburg, was traveling north in the Lakes
Village Shopping Center lot and Phillip Paseka, Jr., 17,1622 East Center St.. Warsaw, was eastbound when the cars collided. Sgt. Jon Hershberger of the Warsaw police department set SSOO damages to the Leesburg woman’s vehicle and $125 to Paseka's auto. Bank bag with $l5O is stolen Richard and Ronald Bellman, employees of Lakeland Sanitation Service. North Webster, reported the theft of a bank bag containing approximately $l5O from the business establishment. The theft occurred sometime during Monday evening or Tuesday morning. A metal file cabinet had been pried open and the bank bag taken. Police found no forcible entry by the burglars.

by Gerald E. Cramar, 56, r 1 Syracuse. According to investigating officer Joe Thornburg, Cramar backed his vehicle onto road 530E and was struck by the Seitz vehicle. Damage to the Seitz vehicle was SBO and nothing to the Cramar vehicle. No charges were filed.
