Russel Method Russel B Method, 66, of North Main St., New Paris, and brother of Mrs. John (Dorothy) Stahley of Syracuse, died Thursday afternoon at home. Mr. Method was bom to Frank B. and Bertha (Hoshaw) Method on April 21, 1910, southeast of New Paris. He married the former Amanda Bender on December 20,1936, who survives. Owner-operator of Method s TV Service, the deceased was a member of the Grace United Methodist church, the New Paris Chamber of Commerce and the Jackson township improvement corporation. Surviving in addition to his widow are one daughter. Mrs. John (Pamela) Legg 111 of Elwood; one son, James R. Method of Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandchildren; four sisters. Dorothy. marriage to Ralph Tumbleson was on February 26, 1910. He preceded her in death on February 1, 1975. Mrs. Tumbleson was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist church at Atwood Surviving are one son, Ralph (Mike) Tumbleson of Warsaw; two daughters. Mrs Everett (Ethel) Vandermark also of Warsaw and Mrs. Albert (Thelma) Kammerer of Leesburg; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death Services were conducted Friday. Nov. 26. in the Titus funeral home. Rev Keith Burch officiated and interment was in the Harrison Center cemetery Mrs. Gale Green Death claimed Mrs Gale (Ilo) Green. 83, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of the Milford area, on Wednesday, Nov 24 Mrs Green died of complications following an extended illness She was bom May 1, 1893, in Van Wert, Ohio She was a charter member and the oldest member of the First Baptist church of Van Wert In 1961 she married Gale Green At that time she moved to Milford. A Masonic service was held Thursday evening in the Wyman funeral home of Pierceton. Graveside military services were conducted in the Hillcrest cemetery Albert Henry Bird Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Wednesday) at 2 o’clock in the Milford Christian church for Albert Henry Bird, 60, Milford. Bird died Sunday at 1:45 p.m at home, being in failing health for some time. He was born May 9, 1916 in Milford to Charles and Grace (Hess) Bird. He lived in Milford his entire life. The deceased married Laura Ketring in Syracuse on August 31, 1942. He was a retired painter and printer, having worked for The Milford Mail and The Times Union. Bird was a member of the Milford Christian church. Surviving with the wife are one son, Charles of Milford; two daughters. Miss Roxanna Bird and Mrs Gayla Hostetter, both of Syracuse; and two grandchildren. Five sisters preceded him in death Norris Jackson of Rome City will officiate at the services Burial will be in the Milford cemetery William F. Rapp Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at 1 pm. in the Bubb's funeral chapel in Mishawaka for William F. Rapp, 79. Mishawaka Rapp, father of Marvin Rapp of Milford, died at 5:30 am. Monday, Nov. 29. in Saint Joe hospital at South Bend after an extended illness The deceased was born in Baden Baden. Germany, on May--30. 1897 He came to the United States in 1904 He married Leola M Miller on May 17, 1919 She survives He lived a number of years in Milford before moving back to the Mishawaka area. Surviving with the wife and Milford son are another son, Donald F of Carmel; a daughter, Mrs Dale (Willene) Critney of Waterloo; eight granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Don (Anna) Logan of Goshen, Mrs George (Tina) Lehman of Leesburg and Mrs. Jesse (Frieda) Haab of Milford; and three brothers, Chris Kammerer. Andrew Kammerer and .Albert Kammerer, all of Leesburg He attended the Christian Center. South Bend and retired after 31 years at WheelebratorFrye Co.. Mishawaka. Interment followed the funeral services It was in Violett cemetery. Goshen Mrs. Jack Nash Mrs Jack (Alice M.) Nash, 58, r 4 Syracuse, died unexpectedly at home on Thursday, Nov. 25. She had been ill for some time. Mrs Nash was born October 29. 1918, in Medaryville. Ind., to Owen and Helen Harner She married Jack Nash 31 years ago He survive#. Other survivors include, one daughter. Mrs Nancy Anglin of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren; three brothers, Richard of Anderson. On November 29, an employee at Maple Leaf Farms became ill and was transported to the Kosciusko Community hospital. The EMS responded to a call on November 29, when a 16-year-old girl complained of chest pains and shortness of breath. She was transported to the Goshen hospital. Sheriff gives report for October Kosciusko county sheriff John E. Hammersley has released the following report for activities handled by his department during the month of October: Officers answered a total of 35 complaints while off duty. A total of 381 complaints being answered during the month. The department served 214 papers and made 13 traffic arrests. Accidents A total of 84 cars were involved in accidents during the month with 23 persons injured and one killed. Nine arrests were made in connection with the accidents. The total number of accidents is listed at 57 with 24 being in the day light, 23 at night and 10 during the dawn or dusk hours. Two deer were killed. Estimated damages to vehicles was set at $94,385 with property damages being $41,410 for a total of $135,795 in damages. Jail A total of 111 bookings were made at the jail with 66 by county sheriff’s department, six by the Indiana State Police and 39 by city departments. Investigations During the month 12 first degree burglaries, 13 second degree burglaries, 15 thefts, 22 acts of vandalism and two arsons were investigated by the department. BOOKED AT COUNTY JAIL Michael R. Patterson, 19, r 2 Milford, was charged with public intoxication, illegal possession of a controlled substance and speeding on Sunday and booked at the county jail in Warsaw. He was released after posting $l,lOO bond.

Pastor and Mrs. Chad Woodburn sang “Praise to God” Sunday during the morning worship hour. Rev. Woodbum accompanied on the piano. Pastor Woodbum delivered the morning message using I Corinthians 11 as his main text. Following evening services, a farewell fellowship was held in the church fellowship hall. Sandwiches, pie, cookies, snacks, popcorn, punch and coffee were served. Gifts were presented to Pastor and Mrs. Woodbum. Rev. and Mrs. Woodburn resigned their pastcrate at New Salem effective December 1. They will be going to Houston, Texas, January 1, to start a new church. He was transported to the Goshen hospital Tuesday, at 12:34 p.m. Phyllis M. Dau, 54, of Fort Wayne was transported Sunday at 9:26 a.m. to the Lutheran hospital in Fort Wayne from a r 2 Syracuse residence. The patient was suffering cramps in the right foot and lower leg. Robert L. Edsall, 56, r 1 Cromwell, was taken to the Goshen hospital Monday at 4:56 p in. after suffering pains in the abdomen, vomiting and severe headaches. Frederick Hann, 29, r 4 Syracuse, was found ill on the floor behind the bar at the Pickwick Lounge in Wawasee Village Monday evening at 7:16 p.m. He was conscious but in a state of confusion when the aidmen arrived. He refused further treatment.
