The primary department, under the direction of Mrs. Robert Hurd, sang special numbers, “Isn't He Wonderful" and “Give Me Oil in My Lamp.” They were accompanied by Mrs. Dale Morehouse. x Mrs. Ray Ferverda, Mrs. Elsie Weybright and Mrs. Lydia Morehouse attended women’s camp last Wednesday and Thursday at Camp Mack. Mrs Zona Deeter spent several days visiting with her daughter and family, Mr and Mrs. Tom Sands and family of Munster. Mr and Mrs Bill Newcum of Cassopolis. Mich., spent the week end with Mr and Mrs. Glen Morehouse. .. Mr and Mrs Clifton Deck of Illinois spent the week end with Mr and Mrs Dale Morehouse and Mr. and Mrs. Don Shively of Leesburg. Mr. and Mrs e Rex Wildman entertained Mrs Ray Ferverda and Clara Driver Sunday at a local restaurant.

The annual auxiliary meeting was held all day Saturday at the Timbercrest home in North Manchester. Those attending were Mrs. Elsie Weybright. Mrs Ray Ferverda. Mr. and Mrs Roy Eisenhour and Mrs. Cecil Flook. both of New Paris Rev. Eldon Morehouse and Denise of Muncie spent Fridaynight and Saturday with Mrs. Lydia Morehouse, while Mrs. Eldon Morehouse attended a cabinet meeting at Camp Mack. Record high carry-over of soybeans Carry-over of old crop soybeans into the 1976-77 marketing year totaled 244 million bushels on September 1. according to the USDA statistical reporting service. This soybean carry-over is the second largest on record, exceeded only by the 1969 carry-over of 327 million bushels The September 1 stocks in all positions are 32 per cent more than a year ago and 43 per cent above the 1974 level. Soy-beans stored on farms totaled a record high 85 million bushels, exceeding the previous record high of 1975 by ib million bushels This is 13 per cent above last year and 31 per cent above two years ago. Off-farm stocks at 159 million bushels are 44 per cent higher than September 1. 1975 and 49 per cent above September 1, 1974 Disappearance during the
