Eight CB thefts reported in Milford, Syracuse
Eight CB units were stolen along with other items last Wednesday night, Aug. 11, in Milford and Syracuse. Reported stolen to Milford town marshal Melvin Jordan, were five CB sets, three tape decks, three guns and CB antennas and one tachometer A CB antenna was taken from Dr. Bruce Lamb’s car Phil Campbell, had taken from vehicles in his garage, one Royce 1975 CB set. one Kris CB set. and one Craig tape deck A back window of a car owned by Sally Beer, r 1 Milford, was broken and a tape deck stolen Another rear car window was broken in a vehicle owned by Dick Casto A Pierce-Simpson CB set. 22 rifle, BB gun. tachometer

West street, had a CB set stolen from his vehicle and Dick Smith, 512 W. Catherine, had stolen from his truck a large lantern, carton of cigarettes and an air rifle. At Syracuse Sometime after 8 p m., last Wednesday night, Aug 11, three CB thefts were reported to police chief Ron Robinson. $460. Jeff Hyndman. 531 South Lake street, had a CB valued at $l3O taken from his vehicle. Entry was gained through a window. Charles Kay, Ligonier, was visiting a Syracuse residence when a CB set was removed from las car. Value of the set is listed as $l4O. The thefts in Syracuse are under investigation by chief Robinson and Louis Medino Robinson said he assumes coat hangers were used to gain entry into the vehicles and they have several suspects under investigation. Two-car accident north of Syracuse Four were taken to the Goshen hospital in the Syracuse emergency ambulance at 10:05 a m Friday as a result of injuries sustained in a two-car accident
