Proposed levy at Warsaw set at $ 4.05 for schools
The proposed levy on property for the Warsaw community School Corporation for the year 1976, payable in 1977 is $4-05. A levy of $2.90 has been set in the general fund and will raise $2,401,116. The levy in the cumulative building fund has been set at $1.15 and will raise $952,167. A public hearing on the levies will be held in the offices of the school corporation on August 26
to consider the budget, levies and tax rates. The budget is signed by Russell Heyde, Jerry Johnson, W. James McCleary, Ralph Coplen, Richard Barnes, Marie Stokes, Frederick Yohey, members of the board of trustees. STRIKE ENDS British municipal workers on Nov. 5, 1970, ended their six-week strike for higher wages.
