Weatherhead plant manager, and right. Mary Byrd. The Weatherhead corporation contributed 11.000 and Byrd. SBOO. Byrd held a bake sale and yard sale at the Scout cabin on South Huntington street to raise money for her contribution. She also is planning other fall money-raising projects for the fund. The fund will be used to purchase the jaws rescue equipment and a carrier truck for it. Approximately 120.000 is needed to make the purchase.

Syracuse firemen responded to a call last Wednesday to the Richard Keim residence located about three miles south of Syracuse on the WebsterSvracuse road when smoke sifted
