meet expenses and yet hold their crops for later sale when markets are higher," Braman explained. “Such loans mature 11 months following the end of the month in which the loans are made.” Braman said that although soybean loans were not available for the 1975 crop, they will be in effect this year, and may be obtained, along with corn and sorghum, from harvest through May 31. 1977. Loans for wheat, oats, barley and rye may be obtained from harvest through March 31. 1977. To obtain a farm-stored commodity loan.' Braman said, the producer needs to certify at his ASCS county office the number of bushels of grain he has in suitable storage The loan amount will then be computed by multiplying the eligible quantity of grain in storage times the loan rate for the county in which the grain is stored. For a farm-stored loan, the producer has the option of taking a loan on a quantity of grain less than the total eligible and of paying off all or a part of the loan at any time during theYloan period A requirement under the loan agreement is that the producer maintain the quality of the loan collateral and that he

Roger Vore named theatre association director

Roger Vote, president of Vote Cinema Corp, of Warsaw, was recently elected to the board of directors of the Theatre Owners of Indiana. The TO! is the primary trade association for independent theatre owners throughout the state of Indiana. Through the TOI. theatre owners maintain contact with the Indiana General Assembly, IOS HA. the state fire marshal's office and various other governmental agencies. They also conduct an two-day convention in Indianapolis each fall, during which the theatre people exchange their views on industry problems and screen product reels of upcoming releases from the motion picture distributors. As a director, Vore will have a rote on, the board which helps influence the future of the theatre industry in Indiana and has been named a member of the 1976 convention coordinating committee. Lake Wawasee boating accident seriously injures Elkhart woman

A boating accident on Lake Wawasee last Friday morning. July 23. seriously injured an Elkhart woman. Mrs. Judy Stoll, husband Gary and daughter Mario, 4, were trolling when the steering mechanism failed at approximately 10:30 a.m.. throwing Mrs. Stoll and daughter Mario, 4, into the water.
