Do You Giro Enough To Help? (An Editorial) A plea is being made this week for some club br organization to back an effort by two Syracuse "women in aiding a drive for a two-year-old cancer youth, a resident of Kosciusko county. Do you care enough to help? If so, contact may be made with Mrs. Donald Routson who has a Cromwell telephone number. The youth, one of eight children, is now a patient in Riley hospital in Indianapolis and following his release, will need to return to the hospital for treatments. His brothers and sisters go to North Webster school, the father is going blind and unable to work. The mother Is currently employed at a low salary. The family does not have a car, a mode of transportation which will be needed for the Indianapolis trips. The family does not have insurance to cover the mounting expenses. Clothing is needed for the family, school supplies and funds for medical expenses. , Again we ask, do you care enough to help?

Preferences People who are sailboat buffs look down , their noses at powerboats. Conversely, those who prefer powerboats think there is too little action in the sport of sailing. It’s a matter of personal preference. | Fortunately, there is enough water in the world to permit both kinds of boating. Also. 1 there is enough of everything on this earth to < * enable us to live in dignity while doing personally what we like best — IF we use our resources properly . . . and remember to con- . sider our fellowman. | Personal preferences . . consideration. These two things apply to boating, to be sure. . They also apply to choice of a mate, where to live, kind of occupation, and where and how to worship. You have freedom of choice. Don’t forget to use it. $ i a If - % , ~ JWIL - Copyright ’9?6 Keister AOvertismg Service inc , St'astxxg V>rgima
