County taxing units receive distributions County auditor Jean Northenor has. pursuant to public law 50, acts of 1973, distribution of the certified shares of all taxing units and property tax relief credit for all taxing units in the county from the state board of tax commissioners. < Mrs. Northenor explained the property tax credit must by law be used to lower property taxes. She also said the reason the property tax credit is lower than the certified shares is that the schools share in tax credit but not in certified shares. t The county adjusted gross, income distribution, one-half percent, will be given as follows: with the certified share being 50 per cent based on a factor of .17998137 and the property tax credit being 50 per cfent based on a factor of .05387656: Taxing Certified Prop.
