Danish visitor compares lake regions during Wawasee Lake stay

When visiting there she was driven by Nathaniel Fick to see the monuments which she describes as "beautful.” Their travels also took Bente to Chicago where she saw both sides of a large city. “I like some of the parts of the city, but of course there are some bad parts." From the Sears tower Bente got an overview of the city and “loved” Lake Michigan. She did not like the air pollution above Chicago and doesn't like the same problem which they have in Copenhagen. Another highlight of Bente’s stay w as seeing a performance of “Oklahoma" at the Enchanted Hills playhouse. “That was really fantastic." She herself takes music lessons and plays the recorder piano, organ and guitar and sings For seven weeks a year. Bente works as a salesgirl selling Danish wares to Germans who visit the resort area near the border, from 8:15 a.m. to 11 p.m. She has one more year of college before becoming a teacher qualified in mathematics

Enchanted Hills to present musical for the Bicentennial

The musical comedy opens this Wednesday, June 30 and continues through the holiday week end with performances July 1, 2 and 3, as well as again on July 7. 8. 9 and 10. “Os Thee I Sing." a hilarious 1930’s comedy spoof on American love and politics, is a perfect musical to celebrate the Bicentennial in this election year. younger brother, Finn Andsbjerg Larsen, is studying electronics. All family members help their father at the camp when they have spare time. Bente is now staying in Fforida and “loves” Disney World. She and a friend, Jytte Herborg, Skjem, will return to Denmark after concluding a three week visit in Florida. The pair has traveled together before to Austria and England. Whilb in the states Bente saw several parts of the country but said, “I really would like to see many other places.”
