Sales and net loss for the nine months ended March 31,1976 were $8,174,208 and $1,365,514 or $1.40 per share compared to sales of $11,516,604 and a net loss of $961,046 or 99 cents per share for the nine month period ended March 31, 1975. Sales for the quarter increased primarily due to an increase in mobile home sales which was partially offset by a decrease in cabinetry sales due to a strike which shut down operations for two weeks at the end of the quarter. Sales for the nine month period ended March 31,1976 were down 24 per cent in mobile home salses, 97 per cent in truck sales, and 16 per cent in kitchen cabinetry sales compared to the prior year’s nine month period. Due to the low volume of sales in the current year’s third quarter all three of the company’s lines of business operated at a loss. Richard C. Mynsberge, president, stated that the improvement in mobile home sales experienced in the third quarter must continue thru the remainder of calendar 1976 in order to maintain mobile home plants and operations at present levels.
