Mr. and Mrs. Rick Neff wed in garden ceremony

A garden wedding at the home of the bridesj parents was the scene of the May 22 wedding uniting Rick E. Neff and Susan Elaine Anson. Paster Stan Hill officiated at the double ring ceremony Mr. and Mrs Richard Neff of r 1 Milford are parents of the bridegroom. The bnde is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Eldon T. Anson of r 2 Huntington. " The ceremony took place on a peninsula on the family pond across a white bridge decked with spring plants scanning the water. The aitar was arranged with a white drought-iron bridal arch drapeci with boxwood garland and cascades of flowers with green foliage and spring plants at the base. Piano music was presented by Dave Stech with Randy Snyder as vocalist. ’ The bride, jiven in marriage by her father, selected a white floor-length gbwn of nylon organza, cluny and Venise lace. Fashoning the A-line gown was a V-neckline enhanced with ruffled motifs Lo/hg sleeves with gathered be/1 cuffs edged in lace added to the gown's daintiness The skirt, v\hi|ch was flounced at the hem. swept to a full chapel train with two vertical wide ruffles giving an apron effect. Hazel Ebert is hostess for the Ebenezer Ladies The Ebenezer Ladies Aid of Syracuse met in the home of Mrs. Charles (Hazel) Ebert. Thursday. May 20. Mrs. Roy (Katie) Wilkinson presided during the meeting. Mrs. Ebert and Ruth Smith gave the devotions. Mrs. Smith and Fern Weirich sang a number of selections for the group Mrs. Ebert accompanied them on the piano. Mrs. Smith assisted the hostess in serving refreshments to 19 members Minnie Doll will host a picnic for the June meeting Leesburg Homemakers hold spring party Members of the Leesburg Homemakers met Wednesday evening for their spring party in the Shrine building at Warsaw. A banquet supper was served to 29 members and husbands. Devotions were given by Mrs. Charles Smoker before the meal. Tables were decorated in the red. white and blue Bicentennial theme with candles and flowers. Each guest received a violet. The short business meeting was presided over by Mrs. Chester Albert, president. The club voted to have an ice cream social at Leesburg Days. The next meeting will be June 16 in the home of Mrs. Kenneth Miller east of Leesburg. PRINCESS WED Princess Anne, only daughter of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth □, was wed to Capt. Mark Phillips on Nov. 14, 1973.

r ’ fGOLDEN ANNIVERSARY — Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Brooks. Sr., Milford, will be honored at an open house on May 30 from 2 t 6 4 p.m. at the Apostolic fellowship hall. Milford, in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary. Mr. Brooks and the former Inez Wade were married in Pulaski. Tenn., on May 24. 1926. The reception will be hosted by their five children. Ted. Jim and Bob Brooks, all of Milford; Kenneth Brooks of Fort Wayne; and Mrs. Scott (Susan) Crist of Gettysburg. Ohio. There are seven grandchildren.
