Tippecanoe club is entertained
Mrs Louis Gee, Warsaw, was hostess for the May 19 meeting of Tippecanoe Township Home Extension club Martha Kussmaul assisted the hostess. The group voted to have a white elephant sale at the June meeting It was announced that the,club has been designated as an "Honor club’ by the county home extension office A certificate of recognition was on display Certificates of recognition were also presented to Ruth Boyer and Goldie Hunnicut for their participation in state wide, home extension sponsored. Bicentennial contests Thank you notes were read by Kathryn Bause, secretary. They will be assisted by Audra Shinn. Helen Anderson. Sharon Martin. Agnes Douthitt and Peg Benson Devotions will be given by Carrie Switzer. Barbee Conservation club holds a spaghetti supper
Tables were decorated with spring flowers for the May 18 meeting of Barbee Conservation club The pledge to the American flag was repeated in unison Dorothy Thornburg led the group in prayer A basket of flowers were Honored after commencement Mr and Mrs Lloyd Kammerdiener of 301 North Harrison street, Syracuse, held an open house following the Sunday commencement at Wawasee high school, honoring their daughter. Tonda Kay Miller Approximately 45 relatives and fnends attended the event with.a salad bar and cake and punch being served Among the guests were the grandmothers, Mrs. Walter Etheli Miller of Elkhart. Mrs Alto (Catherine) Babcock and Mrs V.olney I Hazel) Kammerdiener, both of Syracuse. Others were from Foraker, Goshen Wakarusa. Elkhart. New Paris and Syracuse.

Amy Owens, CindyKnotts and Melody Gray. Stacy E. Davis, r 1 Warsaw, has been released from WhitleyCounty hospital at Columbia City and is now recouperating at home. Stuart Joseph Brumfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Brumfield and David Nathan Mulligan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Mulligan, were baptized during services held May 9 at North W’ebster united Methodist church.

Frank Golden, president, entertained the group by singing an Irish ballad. Members of the supper committee were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thornburg. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Altman. Mr and Mrs. Allen Hart and Mr and Mrs. Ervin Scoville Approximately 39 members were present for the dinner meeting.
