many television commercials, industrial and sports films. In the still photography realm, he has had many pictures published in newspapers and magazines. His presentation on Greenland proves it is not as green as its name! Eighty-five per cent of its 840,000 square miles is ice cap. The ice cap is made of snow that fell when Jesus walked in the desert and the snow fell 100.000 years ago when the woolly rhinoceros anl the mammoths walked about vuvering on the artic tundras of Europe. It is said that if the ice cap would melt, the oceans would rise 23 feet. By contrast Greenland’s blue iceburgs and snow-capped mountains are complimented by the gaily painted wooden houses, flower gardens and fishing boats bobbing in the waters of its tiny harbors. A few places to be shown are Narsarssuak and surrounding area where Eric the Red’s settlement was established 1.000 years ago and the Eskimo village <f Igaliko Jakobshavn and its ice fjord which spews 20 million tons of ice
Less Drudgery... ... More Living That's what retirement has meant to Fred and Frances. Os course. they spent close to torts years getting themselves ready. They learned the richness of living . . the adventures of ■* believing and serving and sacrificing. They surrounded themselves ■■ with people who care, who are concerned, who like helping others. They based their lives on truths and ideals that do not change with n every passing opportunity or disappointment. They found God. Now they are prepared to enjoy the rest of life. |Kk Not the REST. Who looks forward to idleness? Rather THE REST . the years not yet lived . > the unfolding culnuhation of our destiny as children of God. \ v ■1 I ' In the lives of Fred and Frances, retirement has been one more - rX,/ Christian adventure.
