The Vikings commanded most of the game and finished with a * whalloping of 98-82. Tippy Valley did some fantastic ball playing as a team, sparked by the firing of juniors Derek Anglin and Greg Kindig, who combined for 34 points, 22 and 35 respectively The Trojans hit 33 of 69 from the field, but that was not quite enough to catch the Valley team. Osborn bucketed 22 points and Roahrig notched 19. Warsaw Over Rochester On Friday night, the double bout took place, the first contest was between the Warsaw Tigers and the Rochester Zebras. As the Vikings edged farther and farther ahead on the scoreboard Wawasee began to wind down. Fouls were being called everywhere and the disheartened Warriors started the second, trailing by 10 points. The second period saw Wawasee outscormg Valley, but the damage* done in the first quarter kept the Vikings ahead, 42 34 The scoreboard was really clicking along in the second half, Valley outscored Wawasee in each quarter, but only by minimal margins The biggest offensive blast errupted in the final stanza with a total of 74 points being scored. 38 far Valley and 36 for Wawasee This finalized the tally at 105-92. Keith Cnpe headed up the Wawasee scoring charge by builetmg m 19 points, all made in the first half.
