transferee home sales was reported to HFL Saint Louis headquarters, 2632 Woodson road. Saint Louis. Mo., 63114 by HFL network members who sene over 7.000 communities in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. This 29 per cent increase compares to 1974 total of $51,432,188. According to Shafran. the second half of 1975 saw a surge in residential home sales by HFL network members to transferring families. At the end of June. $26 million in sales were realized. During the second half of the year, these sales nearly tripled "We had confidence in our predictions at the beginning of 1975. that real estate sales to relocating families would be improving at a. rapid pace." Shafran said. "Our expectations have not only been met. but we are pleasantly surprised by the results In fact, we look with a further increase for 1976 as long as the economy continues its rebound, interest rates stay at a sane level, inflation is held down and the general housing market continues its recovery ” The biggest gains in sales to transferring families were in the months of June through September. A record $10,194,482 in residential referral volume sales was recorded for August. As HFL network headquarters does not share in members' sales basis, its membership is not required to report such statistics on a sale by sale basis. The above statistics reflect only half of the over 1.300 member offices which have submitted statistics. Based on the half reporting, in actuality, HFL network members have closed approximately $l4O million in sales generated by families relocating from other HFL network member areas. Shafran added. “Every year the sales volume of homies sold to relocating families sets a new record for the Homes For Living network. This shows the faith major industries and military installations have in the member offices of the Homes For Living network and the national service capabilities we provide for America s home buyers and sellers to make their moves more comfortable and quick We look Inward to make their moves more comfortable and quick. We look forward to 1976 in playing an expanded role in assisting America’s industry personnel.” Police report is given at Syracuse Syracuse police chief Ron Robinson has released the following report of activities for the month of February: Calls answered 182 Warning tickets 9 Traffic arrests 21 Juvenile arrests 3 Dog complaints 10 Dogs impounded 19 Fire and first aid calls answered 16 Vandalism reports 3 Overtime parking Tickets issued 92 Zoned no parking tickets 16 Courtesy Services 24
