Memoriam In Memory of ' Mamie F. Black Died Oct 29. 1974 I admire my grandma Black. She always makes me feel warm inside. She would always look over me. She loved everyone She was nice to her children, greatgrandchildren and grandchildren. She would have been nice to great-great-grandchildren. She would take care of people when they were sick. She would treat all people nice no matter what they were like. Whenever you needed anything she was
there to give it to you. Most of all, I liked her beliefs. She loved God and trusted in Him all the time. Wherever she went, God was with her. She would always make us say prayers when we spent the night with her. She would say blessings at eating time. She was always happy, singing, and on the ball. 1 just love the way she was always smiling and gave a warm greeting. But yet there were bad times. Sometimes she would lose her temper, and sometimes she would tell us things that were not true.We would always have a little trouble about one getting more attention than others. My Grandma was a great gardener. She had a‘green thumb. She has two great big gardens, five little gardens, and a vegetable garden. Everyone of them was raised well and she got many compliments on them. Everyone wished that they were as good of a gardener as my Grandma was. Now my Grandma isn’t here, but I will wish with all my might that I someday may be the same way she was. and take her place. Written by Ronda Black age 10 North Webster school
