With animals as with people, appearances are deceiving. “The Best of Walt Disney’s True-Life Adventures” features some pretty deceptive characters. Strong and cunning as they are usually portrayed, the grey wolf, black bear and lion are shown to have a soft side too, in Walt Disney Productions' new full length movie adapted from the Academy Award winning nature series. Wildlife photographers who filmed those animals discovered that the American grey or timber wolf is actually gallant and respectable. Once mated, he stays married for life. And because he is a good provider, virtuous family, man. loyal, courageous, with good social manners and an alert intelligence. he is never a bachelor for long. The black bear, on the other hand, soon wears out his welcome after mating, and when cubs are born he is often kicked out of the cave.
